The University of Memphis Women’s Soccer Team is getting a new stadium honoring Liza Fletcher. The fund https://www.lizaslight.org/ looks to raise $7MM in the first round to bring top-notch facilities to the student-athletes of Memphis.
Our friends, family, and city still mourn the loss of Liza Fletcher. Her impact, even in death, is great. The generosity of the family and those involved shows God’s promise to be true, that death has been defeated.
Lord, though we mourn, we also celebrate the inspiration that is and was Liza Fletcher. Bless this stadium and the grounds, that they may be a reminder of how precious life is and how to live a precious life. Fill the coffers with funds and opportunities for those involved in the program. May they be filled with the grace of God and love of Christ. In Your name, Amen.
