I love their stories of community members doing their best to build up the community with their gifts and talents. I love when that the journalists get to know a community and the people that make it so. They currently have stories about small business owners winning grants, how Memphis Fashion Week impacts the participants and the community, and STEM funding form the TVA. Their stories talk about the impacts of a fallen world, but they also highlight the good working to improve it with respect.
Lord, tonight we lift up platforms like High Ground News that showcase good works being done in our neighborhoods. We pray that they are overwhelmed with stories for positive impactful changes throughout Memphis. May others be encouraged by the work being done. Lord, watch over the team that we lift up to you here. May they be a voice for Your work in this world, whether they view it as part of their job or not. Lord, prepare them for their encounters as they work on their stories over the coming days and weeks.
