Taste and see that the Lord is good;
blessed is the one who takes refuge in him
Psalm 34:8
I pray the body of Christ can come together and share this message with our neighbors here in Memphis. It’s a recognition and celebration of the Father’s love for us. As sinners, we know the fall, but we know the sweetness of salvation as well.
Lord, in this Christmas season, may we be intentional in sharing the joy and love we have in Jesus with those you place in our paths. May our hearts be attuned to the rhythms of the Holy Spirit. May we open our eyes to the needs of our neighbors, and not only the material needs. Lord, You have called us to love each other as we love ourselves. You have commanded us to look out for the poor and the marginalized. May we be laborers in the harvest. Forgive us our sins, our selfishness, our idolatry, and point us back to You. In Your name, Amen.
